KinectiChord is a multi-user, multi-sensory experience created for Microsoft’s Cannes Experience Booth. Blending the physical and digital in unexpected ways, the installation used Kinect for Windows, projection mapping, acoustic vibration, and proprietary depth-sensing software to create a dynamic, haptic wall of sound and light.
Guests were invited to push and interact with a stretched spandex surface, which responded with synchronized visuals and audio. Pressure, position, and movement all influenced the real-time projection and spatial soundscape, enabling people to see, hear, and feel their impact. It redefined what "interactive" could mean in a premium brand experience.
