Delta Air Lines partnered with Razorfish and Madison Square Garden to reimagine what travel discovery could feel like in the digital age. What began as an experiential installation for the WIRED Holiday Store quickly evolved into a showcase feature in Delta’s Sky360 Club at MSG and eventually expanded to airport terminals and VIP lounges. The goal was to inspire wanderlust and position Delta as more than a carrier—it’s a connector to unforgettable experiences around the globe.

Delta wanted to engage travelers in a way that cut through the noise of event venues and airport terminals. The experience needed to feel premium, intuitive, and emotionally resonant—especially in a setting where audiences are often distracted. The challenge wasn’t just to create a digital touchpoint but to turn a branded moment into a memory that made Delta feel indispensable to future travel dreams.

We designed Touch the Future of Travel as a personalized, emotion-driven destination discovery experience. Using large-format multi-touch screens, visitors built their ideal getaway by choosing from a curated set of mood-based tiles. Each interaction revealed immersive visuals, quotes, and videos from relevant destinations—turning abstract feelings into tangible possibilities. As Creative Director, I led a cross-disciplinary team in shaping the concept, driving client alignment, and guiding execution across content, interaction, and mobile continuity. We launched the first version in just four weeks, then scaled the experience to the Delta Sky360 Club at Madison Square Garden—embedding it into the flow of major events like concerts and NBA games. Visitors could save their journey via QR code, revisit destinations on their mobile device, and share travel inspirations with friends across social platforms.
